These adhesive strips apply directly to the outside of your brake caliper and provide a quick, accurate readout of the maximum temperature reached during use — critical for tuning brake performance and diagnosing thermal load.
 
Why it matters:
Brake pads are engineered to perform within specific temperature ranges.
 
Too cold? Pads won’t bite effectively — possibly too much cooling.
Too hot? Pad fade, fluid boiling, and loss of braking power become serious risks.
 
Strip features:
 
📈 Temp range: 250–536°F (121–280°C)
🟧 Orange = default/unreached
⬛ Black = highest temp reached
One-way recording — will not reset, but records higher temps if exposed again
 
Pro tip: For precision testing or repeated use, we recommend applying new strips after each session or event.
